Coast & Back In Under 24 Hours

When we went to the coast for Jason's wedding last weekend, it was a very quick trip. We were there less than 24 hours. We went to the wedding Saturday, stayed the night in a cheap motel, got very little sleep then packed back up to head out when the sun came up. The weather changed over night and it was cold, windy and wet. So instead of our original plan to spend a couple of hours on the beach, we went to the Cheese Factory in Tillamook. Once Esperanza found out they made ice cream there, she forgot all about missing the sand and water on the beach.

Unlike Esperanza and I, Ezra slept like a log Oh my, look at that face!
With the excpetion of Armando getting wedding party pictures taken on the beach the day before, this was the closest we got to the beachLast stop before heading home was the Tillamook Cheese Factory. We toured the place, sampled cheeses, bought some goodies to take home, and got some ice cream cones. Miss Esperanza got Bubble Gum flavored ice cream!

...and she loved it
For drives longer than 20 minutes, I pack some mamas milk in a bottle to keep Ezra happy and his belly full. Before long, both kids were in dream land and our trip was over
