Dress Up Day With Cousins

Yareli and Estevan stayed with us earlier this week. They dressed up in  costumes and got silly for a little bit one day.

Also, signs of spring are springing up around the yard. Buds on the kiwi monster are forming.

Bedtime Sillies

I have a new phone that takes 'live' photos and the kids love it. I love it because they will actually let me take pictures of them! Ezra and I took tons of selfies while Esperanza practiced Dualingo Spanish on the tablet. Then they jumped on the bed and went a little crazy before we settled in for our evening reading. I recently finished reading A Wrinkle In Time outloud to them and and have moved on the 2nd book in a series called Fablehaven. The first book was magical and I truly love reading to the kids at night. It is my favorite and most cherished routine with them. The kids are enjoying the second book of Fablehaven, but I am not. This too shall pass.

Ezra's Bedhead

This is Ezra's hair every morning. 

The Perfect Slime

Equal parts glue, water and liquid starch. We used 1 cup if each. Mix the water and glue together really well. Then add the starch. Enjoy! Just don't get it on clothes you care about, it may never come off.

Bubble Bath

The kids have been avoiding baths/showers for awhile now. It's a battle. I finally got Ezra in the bath - 2 times, in as many weeks. I can't say the same for Esperanza. Here's bubble boy.
