The kiwi monster did not disappoint this year. It has grown an extreme amount over this past year. It is desperate for a new beefed up and more secure support system. I'd love to get the vined up off the ground and contained better. That doesn't seem to stop it from producing tons and tons of kiwi though. Ezra and I decided to start picking them early this year. First picking was October 16th, before the first frost. I'm thinking if I pick once a week for the next month or more, that should stager when they ripen and I won't end up with all of them being ripe at the same time. It's an experiment. I'm also giving away a bunch every time I have the chance to.
Ezra and I can't wait until they are ripe enough to eat!
