After a fun summer of lots of water activities, Ezra has become more and more comfortable in the water. He loves going under water and holding his breath, playing and trying to swim. Because he can't swim, he was required to wear a life jacket in our small pool in the yard all summer. I told him that if he takes swim lessons this year and learns how to swim, next year he won't need a life jacket in our pool. That worked and now he is taking his first session of swim lessons. We go once a week to the local community pool during homeschool swim where a local homeschool mom organized swim lesson sessions. The kids and I will sometimes stay after the lessons and swim together for awhile too.
