For Esperanza's birthday present, Jonna gave her the gift of a fun craft project at an art studio making fused glass. We were the only people (aside from one person that came for only a few minutes) along with the teacher in the studio. We got a quick tutorial on how to do it, then started creating our fun and colorful glass art. After we were done, the teacher took us to the back and showed us the different types of kilns used for the studio and told us how hot they get. A few were on, so were were even able to feel the extreme heat that comes from them. It was really neat to learn about how our glass artwork would be fused together by the kilns. In a few weeks, we will come back to pick up our glass.
