A sweet childhood friend of mine, Rebecca Patton, got married. Rebecca and I were best friends when we were about 11 or 12. Maybe younger. She married a mutual childhood friend, Chris Harryman. They were neighbors, all our families were connected, and 30 years later, they get married. How the universe connects people is so neat sometimes. They had a very casual, yet uniquely magical backyard wedding complete with goats, VooDoo doughnuts and lovely details all around. Their vows were touching and they make such a cute couple. My mom and I were thrilled to have been able to be there.
